Book your Alaska Railroad reservation through Denali Park Hotel and receive free shuttle transportation to and from the Denali National Park Railroad Station.

Once at the Denali Park Hotel local shuttles are available to take you to and from the "Canyon Area" and the National Park Wilderness Access Center. Ask our front desk or reservation staff for details.

Here is a straight forward, easy to understand, cost breakdown of our RR/lodging package.

Railroad ticket cost for one person one way from Anchorage to Denali = $146.00 adventure class, $231.00 Gold Star Service
Lodging cost for one or two persons per night in peak season at Denali Park
Hotel= $99+tax $6.93 = $105.93

Example:
Two persons round trip on the train from Anchorage to Denali = $146.00 x 4 = $584.00
Lodging for two nights at Denali Park Hotel = $105.93 x 2 nights = $211.86
Total cost for two, with round trip Railroad tickets from Anchorage to
Denali Park and a two night stay at Denali Park Hotel and zero shuttle cost = $795.86

You must book your Railroad tickets through Denali Park Hotel to receive free shuttle transportation to and from the Railroad station and Hotel. In addition it helps us plan our shuttle runs to and from the Railroad Station.

To make your trip complete, book directly with Denali National Park their Shuttle Bus trip to the Eielson Visitor Center for $31.45. This is a great way to travel 65 miles into the National Park and possibly see a Grizzly Bear. Or, go all the way to Wonder Lake (86 miles) for $42.95. Alaska Railroad cancellation policy. Change and cancellation fees: Any changes incurred by the Alaska Railroad as a result of changes made by the customer will be applied to the booking in addition to the change fee. All changes or cancellations must be made during business hours through the Denali Park Hotel Reservations Office at 866-683-1800 or 907-683-1800. Cancellations and changes of confirmed reservations are subject to the following fees: RAIL ONLY 8+ DAYS BEFORE TRAVEL: 10% OF BOOKING VALUE PER PERSON, 7 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE TRAVEL : NON-CHANGEABLE, NON REFUNDABLE. Check in one hour before travel, and a goverment issued photo ID is required
